Acid Etch Solution is a pre-treatment for concrete power floated or very smooth concrete
floors. The Acid Etch Solution opens the pores of the concrete and prepares the surface to
accept its next treatment, allowing excellent adhesion.
Apply evenly by soft brush or broom and leave for approximately 15 minutes or until it ceases
to bubble and fizz. Rinse with clean water after reaction is completed and leave 24hrs to allow
the floor to dry completely before painting.

thickness. A practical spreading rate will depend on the actual dry film thickness, the nature of the
substrate, and the relevant consumption factor. The physical constants are subject to normal
manufacturing tolerances.

Surface condition
The surface should be stable, firm, dry and free of dust, sand,
