High build quick air-drying oxide primer for use on ferrous metals, provides good protection
prior to over coating with most solvent based finishing products. Suitable for a wide variety of
applications where speed and ease of application are required. Compatible with FLAG
Hammer Finish and FLAG Smooth Metal paints.

Roofix-20/10
Flag Roofix 20/10 is one of the best water proofing solutions on the market, with its non bitumous single pack elastomeric style acrylic resins, with the added protection of Draylon fibres mixed within the paint this gives an added layer of protection to prevent your roofs from any future water leaks. Area of use
Exterior: roof areas, gutters, lead flashing, slates, asbestos, cement, metal, asphalt, old
roofing felt, bay window and porch areas

Substrates
A wide variety of roofing materials
New roofing felts (or similar materials) can be highly porous and friable (because of the green/grey
stone flakes on the top) they also contain high levels of bitumen, it is recommended that these types of
new surfaces are allowed to weather for a minimum of 6 – 8 months before the application of Roofix.

Theoretical spreading rate: 1 sq. metre per litre
Flash point: 42°C
Specific gravity: 1.1 kg/litre
Dry to touch: 16 hours (20°C)
Curing time: 2 – 3 days

*The theoretical spreading rate has been calculated for the stated volume solids and dry film thickness. A
practical spreading rate will depend on the actual dry film thickness, the nature of the substrate, and the relevant
consumption factor. The physical constants are subject to normal manufacturing tolerances.

Application Details
Application method: Brush, soft broom, trowel or spreader
Thinner: White Spirit
Cleaning of tools: White Spirit
Surface condition The surface should be stable, firm, dry and free of dust, sand, loose old
paint, dirt, grease and oil. Should not be applied in the rain or when rain
is likely. Pooled water must be removed before application.
